August 2



These are ornamental chive, growing in one of our flower beds. They are a fun little plant!

We have ornamental herbs too, but not on purpose - they went to seed because we are lazy gardeners! LOL.

my father in law had these growing in his yard. I always thought they were so pretty!

I took a cooking class once that used these. We made goat cheese (can you believe it-- I've never, however attempted that again), then we formed it into a ball. We chopped chives and a little bit of this flower together. When we rolled the goat cheese in the chopped mixture and served it with crackers. It was gorgeous and delicious.
