June 24

I found this unusual barn last week.  I love the right side of it.  It looks almost like an old church.  The left side looks like they added an industrial garage to it.

There were lots of horses in the pasture in front of it.  Aren't they pretty?

June 17

I came across this abandoned barn on a gravel road, out in the country.  As you can see there are trees and plants growing up all around it, so it's hard to get a good view.
Next to it was an old house which was also abandoned.

It looks like it was a cute house in its day.  This view isn't too bad, but the sides of this house were in worse condition.
When I see places like this, I always wonder about the people who lived there, the kids who played in this yard and the work that happened in that barn.  I'm sure those people would be sad to see how it looks now.

June 10

I found these sad remains of a barn on a gravel road the other day.  It looks like it was long but not very tall.  I can see lots of windows running near to the ground on the front of it.  I like the little 4 paned window on the side too.

June 3

This old barn sits on a property my church purchased to put up a new building.
Unfortunately that means it will be coming down at some time.  It's not in the greatest condition though, as you will see in the other pictures.

Here's a side view of the barn.

The back is being taken over by vines.

Here's the upper loft, with plenty of daylight shining in.

This one taken through the old broken window shows the field in the back where the new building is planned.
