Almost every week I participate in barn charm, posting pictures of barns I find in my area. However - this week I found some barns in my mailbox!
I won a giveaway from Barb of Grandma Barb's This and That. Barb takes some wonderful barn pictures and she sent me these beautiful notecards and the matted picture of the barn. I love barns, so this was the perfect giveaway to win. Thanks Barb!

April 25

We have an oak leaf hydrangea bush near our front walk. In the Fall it gets blossoms that are a ball made of individual flowers, that dry and fall off in the winter. As I walked past it the other day, I noticed one lone flower that has managed to stay throughout the whole winter and into the Spring. Even after all that time, it's still beautiful!

I found this barn when I was out on a drive in the country. Round barns are very unusual around here, and this is such a nice one. I love the little windows in the top, although it must be dark inside as they are the only ones I saw.

I had to share this picture as well. I was following a van that had this personalized license plate. When we stopped at a light I had to snap a picture. It must be another barn lover!

It was a beautiful morning! I was at work and was enjoying the sunlight and shadows of the morning sun, when I looked out from the patio at the nursing home.

This is a sad barn! I think at one time it was very charming, but wrapping a place with plastic kind of deletes the charm factor.

I love these little grape hyacinths! Don't you think they're a cheery sign of Spring?

How do you like this cute little barn we found this weekend? I don't think I've ever seen a barn with a design in the roof. From a distance you can really see the rooster design.

I was taking my grand daughter for a stroller ride, when I saw this barn, right in the middle of town. There is a farm house in front of it, but it's surrounded by a new development. It's been kept in great condition and I wonder what they use it for. Did you notice the sliding glass doors on the one side?
