We went for a walk at a local park today. I don't know who the fisherman is, but I liked the peaceful scene with him in it.

The local Fair is near us this week. I love the sights, sounds and the smells of the Fair (well, maybe not the smells of the barns!)
Seeing all the rides lit up at night is part of the fun!

August 23

My computer got hit with a virus last night, so it's off getting fixed. I'll be by to see you all when I get it back!

August 21

Today is our 30th anniversary! Hard to believe it's been that long - but we've been blessed in those 30 years together!
We are taking a little vacation to celebrate in a few weeks, but today we just packed a picnic lunch and went to our favorite park to walk the trails. Along the side of one of the trails was this huge spiderweb. Isn't God's creation amazing?

August 20

We went to a Chicken BBQ tonight, where they also had several displays set up. One of them was farm animals and these baby bunnies were there. They are floppy eared rabbits and we thought they were so cute!

August 16

This picture was taken this morning on my way to work. The sky was so orange it looked more like a sunset than a sunrise. It was another beautiful day!

August 15

I pass this barn all the time and I always enjoy seeing it, but it's especially nice when the bales of hay are sitting out in front! This barn is still being used although it is showing it's age. I like the little window on the peak.

Yesterday I was driving in an area rarely am in. As I came near this barn, I was struck by it's color. It was brown, which is not common around here. The building itself is pretty standard, but it sets on a hill, and is surrounded by a split rail fence, giving it such a nice look.
I noticed the doors were open, and when I got closer, I was in love with what I saw inside:

Isn't that a beautiful car? The barn showcases it perfectly!

Everything is flowering so nicely in our back yard, making this an inviting spot to sit and enjoy it.

We've been blessed with lots of beautiful mornings lately. This is another picture I took on my way to work. Mornings like this make me want to keep driving and taking pictures instead of going to work!
