We've been really enjoying our time in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It is such a beautiful area. Yesterday we spent a lot of time driving around and seeing some of the Amish culture. It was laundry day at this house.

Oh my goodness Mari, you are in my backyard!!! We've been out of town so I haven't been on the computer until today. To bad I didn't know you were coming my way until today, we could have met-up!! Enjoy the Amish, the are fascinating people.
Love Lancaster-my momwent every year over Mother's Day weekend for about 10 years (until I had Tucker and my Dad got sick) We've been back once since then and would love to go again! though it's a lot more comercialized than it was when we first started going, it still is beautiful!
We have an Amish family that lives about a half mile up the road ... but their clothes line is out of sight. This is such a fun photo.

We have a few amish around here. Always get a kick out of the horse and buggy tied outside the grocery store.
What a beautiful photo. Black and white clothes - so simple.
Excellent shot!
