January 16

We were out driving yesterday afternoon, admiring the beautiful snow covered scenery, when I spotted this old barn, sitting all by itself in the field. I like the simple design, and the old wood against the white snow.

For more barns, visit Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

Gorgeous photo, Mari. I love seeing barns photographed in the snow!

Nice photo! Poor thing, it doesn't look like it could take much of a snow load.

Now that's what I call a power barn. It has stood the test of time, the ravages of weather and of course different tenants. I bet it could recount an interesting story or two.

Elegantly charming! Love the soft wintry blue and the snow. I'm with Rose, what a beautiful rural Christmas card or note card this beautifully composed capture would make!

This one looks to have a good bit of natural air conditioning. When boards are missing like that, I always wonder what caused them to fall. The snow on the roof and ground make for a beautiful capture. genie

I'm doing it again... I could have sworn I'd already commented on this barn... I know I've visited... Maybe I dreamed it? LoL!

It's absolutely gorgeous sitting there in all that snow... I agree, the contrast between the dark wood & snow is beautiful!

Thanks for joining this week's Barn Charm =)
