I snapped this barn shot on my way to work in the morning. It's owned by one of my friends at work. These buildings are all being used as this is still a working farm.

September 2

On a drive down a gravel road, near my house I came across an abandoned house. It's falling apart and even the scraggly tree next to it looks like it's dying.
The whole facade is faded, except that one flash of bright blue in the broken window panes. I wonder what it is?

August 28

This barn is about 10 minutes away from our house. It was a working farm until a few years ago, when the property was sold to the county.
They made this property a county park, with walking trails behind it. It's used by a lot of photographers as the barn provides lots of different backgrounds.
My daughter and son-in-law are expecting a baby in about 6 weeks, and we met there to take some maternity shots.

August 27

We went for a walk at a local park today. I don't know who the fisherman is, but I liked the peaceful scene with him in it.

The local Fair is near us this week. I love the sights, sounds and the smells of the Fair (well, maybe not the smells of the barns!)
Seeing all the rides lit up at night is part of the fun!

My computer got hit with a virus last night, so it's off getting fixed. I'll be by to see you all when I get it back!

August 21

Today is our 30th anniversary! Hard to believe it's been that long - but we've been blessed in those 30 years together!
We are taking a little vacation to celebrate in a few weeks, but today we just packed a picnic lunch and went to our favorite park to walk the trails. Along the side of one of the trails was this huge spiderweb. Isn't God's creation amazing?

August 20

We went to a Chicken BBQ tonight, where they also had several displays set up. One of them was farm animals and these baby bunnies were there. They are floppy eared rabbits and we thought they were so cute!

This picture was taken this morning on my way to work. The sky was so orange it looked more like a sunset than a sunrise. It was another beautiful day!
