August 10

This is an old drill press that my husband has out in his wood shop. It's special to us because it used to belong to my Grandpa. He was a farmer and had it in his barn. It is turned manually by turning this big wheel. Bob doesn't use it, as you can tell by the dust on it, but it hangs on his back wall as a reminder of family and simple times.

Great industrial shot Mari! And I see that you captured a spider web as well. This is neat!

Hi there, I traveled over here from Heart2Heart and thought I would say hello :)

I love the things that remind us of family :)

It's nice to "meet" you, stop by and say hello sometime.

I'm glad you told us what it was and didn't make us guess - I just couldn't figure that out! lol

I used to enjoy going through grandpa's barn to look at all the old machinery. It's nice your husband displays it.

Wonderful picture. Isn't it interesting the things we hold on to from our family. I wouldn't part with anything from my grandfather!
