My brother-in-law, Mark, had a pretty major back surgery yesterday and I sat at the hospital with my sister for the day. When I left the sun was setting, and I saw this beautiful old church from the parking ramp. What a pretty sight!
* Mark is doing well today and will be coming home Sunday.

Oh my goodness! I thought this was a picture postcard! It is just lovely.
When we were traveling one of the thing we enjoyed doing was seeing a lot of these big, old churches.
glad he's doing well.
what a gorgeous church...the light and everything is perfect for that photograph!
Beautiful photo-- See that after Mark's long day must have felt encouraging. I wish him an easy and complete recover.

At first I thought you had taken a trip to Europe!
Hope your BIL continues to improve.
What an inspirational sight. Hope his recovery goes quickly and well.
We've been praying for Mark. We are happy that he will be coming home tomorrow.

The archetecture is such that my first response was that you'd somehow found time to jaunt off to Europe! But the surrounding area is very much urban America.
So wonderful to have the bloggers' prayer support isn't it?
I pray he's recovering well.
The golden sky seems so fitting for the beautiful church. Hope your brother-in-law heals quickly and completely.
That is breathtaking it is so beautiful.
I know you're busy, Mari, but wanted to wish you a very blessed Christmas. Kiss the baby for me.
