This barn belongs to my husbands step-dad. He farmed and drove truck all his life. He's now nearing 80 and still enjoys being out on the tractor. This barn doesn't get used like it did in the past, but there is still some hay stored in it. Do you see the ladder inside, leaning up against the loft?
It's a simple barn, but it's been used well over many years.

Yes! I see the ladder and just love that added bonus. This is a wonderful barn that has so much history. That it is personal for you makes it extra special.

It's still nice and straight and looks like it's been well tended.
I love that grey of the weather-worn wood!
It's nice to see it has been lovingly taken care of!
I can remember climbing a built in ladder to the hay loft of my friends family barn to play. Nice memories.
I like its simple, weathered beauty. I'm wondering what the loft looks like at the top of that ladder!
There's something soothing about the weathered wood of a barn.

I bet it's strong and made of good stock as is your husband's step-dad.:) My Grandparents used to say that.
Yes, I can see the ladder. I bet many years of hard work and living was done in and through that barn. Awesome!
I pray God's hand with your husband's step-dad as he nears 80.
Hugs and love.
