November 2

This beech tree is across the street from our house.  It's one of the things I see out my living room window.  Today we had a short time while the sun was shining and although many of it's leaves have fallen, the remaining ones just glowed. I knew I better get outside and get a picture of it.

The tree trunk and limbs remind me of arms and hands lifted in thanksgiving to God. What a beautiful photo.

What a massive tree! I'd say you seem to have the best autumn colors and trees I've seen in the blogging world this autumn!

Mari, all your photo's from the past week have been just beautiful! I am sorry for my lack of comments. Seems like there are not enough hours in the day to get all I want to do accomplished and barely found the time to get my photo a day posted. Maybe once my Dad is out of the hospital I will get caught up!!
Take care and keep up the wonderful photography!!

Your picture reminds me of this poem:
I do not think
I will ever see
a poem as beautiful
as a tree.
For a poem is made
by a fool like me.
But only God
can make a tree.

I agree with Joanna, and Cherdecor. It is simply beautiful! I wonder how old the tree is...
