We are under a blizzard warning here, although it's not bad yet. We'll see what the rest of the night brings! Since we are all staying in tonight, Heather decided to make a batch of fudge. We use an old recipe that came from Bob's mom. It has to boil for a while and then be beat by hand for some time. It took me many attempts to learn how to do it, but it's good! Now I end up making it for family gatherings because no one else does it anymore.

Mari, I was just thinking about fudge today myself, but I haven't made any yet. I have the See's Fudge recipe and it is sooo good! My aunt worked for them as a teenager, so she got the recipe. :) I wish I could taste yours...I bet it is really good!
Swirling fudge while the winds are swirling around your house -- what else are you gonna do? I told you it was coming your way. Will hit here again in Arizona over the weekend so don't get too complacent just yet!
Oh yummy!!!!
I give a great big HOOAH! to that. Which is something I don't do very often.

My mom always made fudge at the Christmas holiday, and this is a familar memory.
YUMMY! I love how the light hits the swirls.
Okay, so now I want to see a finished photo - that is if there is any fudge left!
