This is what our yard is looking like. It's been raining the last few days, so lots of leaves have been falling. Our yard is now covered with several varieties of wet leaves along with quite a few acorns!
They wouldn't make a very good leaf pile to jump into right now. But I like the way they look extra shiny in the rain. I know what your hubby & you will be doing when the sun comes out ;-D
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.

you always take wonderful pictures of very colorful leaves i love them!
looks like a lot of work to me!!! :)
This is a perfect picture :-)

Beautiful photo. I love all the colors and varying stages of decomposition. Take lots of leaf shots before they all disappear!
Simply beautiful. Wish I could jump in the piles with you.

Bob has his work cut out for him as soon as it dries off a bit. They do look pretty.
Hey! It looks like you've been in my backyard rather than halfway across the country!
How beautiful is that!
Mari,
That is a neat picture. We hardly have any leaves left on the trees here. Fall has gone too fast.
You make me want to jump right into the picture, like a child jumping into a leaf mountain!
You sure you didn't take that picture in MY yard?!
:-)
Pearl
