The leaves are starting to change around here. There is a lot of green yet, but I'm seeing quite a bit of yellow too. I walked past my neighbors yard, where their maple tree is starting to drop leaves. I thought this little grouping of leaves, with the variety of colors was especially pretty.

Your pictures look so much like State College - we had terrible wind here yesterday too. The leaves on the trees are beginning to look so beautiful.

I put a scarecrow up on the tree coming up our drive and the cows pulled it down trying to eat the fake straw in his legs. I guess I'll have to put him in the fenced yard.

I found some leaves today also on my walk with Nancy. Mostly though, the leaves are still green.
That is a good one. I love the leaves when they turn. I am cold tonight, again, though. Think I'll build a fire.
Maple tree leaves are some of the most vibrant and beautiful of the season.
