When we were in Kentucky for Andy's homecoming, we went to Fort Donelson, a Civil War battlefield. We were thrilled to spot this bald eagle there. It was one of the highlights of our trip!
WOW is all I can say.....I can't image how excited you were to get these shots...I have seen them in zoos but never in person....I would love to see one...
I've seen them soaring above in Northern Arizona when I lived there but never close enough to get a picture. So nice that he sat still for you to get more than one shot.
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.

Photographing an eagle would definitely be a highlight for me! Like Nancy, I've only seen them in zoos.
Occasionally we will see one in this area. It is always such a thrill.
