The snow adds a beautiful touch to the red barn. I have to agree with Lesley that the windmill is rather small and would have looked better placed elsewhere. I'm intrigued by the quilt square on the barn. It seems unfinished. :) Lovely shots!
I like the shape of this red beauty as well. Nice to see some snow on the ground,,,there is no snow in our part of the Canadian prairies. Great Barn Charm find :)
This is one of the prettiest barns I've seen. I love red barns and this one looks wonderful in the snow! Love the fence in front, too. Great photos, Mari.
Well, Mari, blow me over with a feather....I had no idea you had this blog.....I have started a new blog so I could post more of my pictures so I hope you will come over for a visit....
I love this barn you have posted....so beautiful with the snow.....
Nice composition. Shabby white fence and pristine snow make the red barn pop The windmill adds whimsy and curiosity (as evidenced by all the remarks about it). This is what sets the scene apart. Something to question. You have a good eye.
This would make a beautiful post card. It is so pretty. Love the vibrant red, the quilt square, and the windows. The little windmill is just icing on the cake. genie
Gorgeous photos Mari! The little windmill in the first photo looks like the 'garden ornament' windmill that we bought our Mom a few years ago. I like it.

The windmill looks oddly out of place - or at least out of scale!
All those details along with the snow combine to make a very charming scene!
The snow adds a beautiful touch to the red barn.

Lovely shots!
Your area is filled with great barns - and you do a wonderful job of capturing their charm. This is a beautiful scene!
what a tiny little windmill. so small. wonder why? great barn. so pretty. (:
oh my! I love it! the snow, the red barn, the shape, just everything about it is beautiful!!
I like the sloping roof and the snow that surrounds the area makes the red barn stood out. ^_^
Red Barn
The shape is nice and the snow just sets off that red. Beautiful!
I like the shape of this red beauty as well. Nice to see some snow on the ground,,,there is no snow in our part of the Canadian prairies. Great Barn Charm find :)
Its a beauty! Red barns are my favorite.
This is one of the prettiest barns I've seen. I love red barns and this one looks wonderful in the snow! Love the fence in front, too. Great photos, Mari.
it is a nice 'painting' with the red and white! what a big pile of snow!
here is everything nearly gone, but they do talk about the 'elf stedentocht' --11 town tour on skates!!--
Oh wow, I love everything about this one. The contrast with the snow is gorgeous!
Very nice shots - I have to agree that the windmill looks a little small for that big barn, but I like it anyway!
I love this one! The fence and windmill really add to the photo.
wow, that windmill looks puny up next to that ginormous barn!
Looking at the size of that roof, that is one big barn. I love it pictured in the snow.
That barn is nearly perfect!
Finding windmills on farms is one of my favorite things. They weren't just ornamental - - - they used the wind to pump up water.
Beautiful barn and your photos, too.
Regards and best wishes
Oh, I so love these! I wish we would have had just one snow even with some depth to it.

That's a beauty :)
I like how the roof sort of disappears into the sky in the first shot.
Beautiful red and white contrast. Barns have so much character.
What a striking contrast between the red and white.
Absolutely love the color and the shape of this barn. Gorgeous!
The barn looks so outstanding with the white snow and the blue sky.
Thanks for stopping by and your nice comment.

Hard to beat a red barn in the snow!
I love the shape of the barn and those little icicles hanging from the roof!
oh now that's a great looking barn. i LOVE the red, the shape, the splashes of white trim, the weathered wood and the windmill.
the farm animals and snow just make it extra special!!
soooo much to see and enjoy here!!

What is it about snow and a red barn. Stunning and worthy of many photo opportunities! I love the windmill in front.
Mari, you've outdone yourself w/ this beauty! That red PoPs so loud in contrast to the white snow! WoW! LOVE. IT.!
Thanks for joining =)
