These little violets grow wild in the wooded area next to our house. We find them in our lawn at times too. I guess they are technically a weed, but aren't they pretty?
I always wonder who was it that named them weeds? The cultivated blossoms we now have that we pay large prices for were one day what could be classified as weeds. This flower simply has not had someone come along, realize its beauty and then take it to a lab to work on its genes to get a lovely garden plant out of it. :D
I like the delicate little plants as well. God made them all, and we should appreciate them all.
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.

I have some of those in my yard. I love when they bloom.
Have a great weekend Mari!!!
Very very pretty!!
Thanks for sharing.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Why is it that the peskiest weeds can bare the most beautiful flowers? It’s always a dilemma for me; do I pull them out or let them bloom?!?
really pretty flowers!! Love such small flowers and their colours!

I think that sometimes the "weeds" have the prettiest flowers!
