As I was driving home from work today, I got the call the every parent hates. "Mom, We were in an accident". It was followed by - "we're ok, can you pick us up?"
My daughter Heather and her friend Melissa were driving home, when another car ran a stop sign and hit Melissa's car in the driver side. They both were scratched up by flying glass and have some bumps and bruises, but otherwise are all right. When I saw the car I realized how blessed they were to be ok. It was spun around and was damaged on all 4 sides. God was watching over them today.

Oh that picture looks so bad. "Thank you God for your protective & loving hands over Heather & Melissa today. Please allow for healing & confidence to get back on the road again"
Wow Mari, you're so right, that is every parent's fear to get a phone call that something has happened to their child. I can just imagine how your heart must have jumped up into your throat! I am so glad they are both ok. :)
(I had a Sebring convertible years ago, fun car!!)
All knees start shaking after an accident. I'm so glad they are fine. Praise the Lord for His protecting Hand.
You've had a bumpy week, Mari! Praise God for protecting everyone!
Oh my, so sorry about the accident, but glad to know the girls are okay!
Glad they are both ok! I know how scary that phone call can be. I got one a few years ago about my daughter. She had to be air lifted to Tampa it was so bad. We had to pass her car to get to the hospital and I lost it. The car was smashed to smithereens. The police officer said from everything they saw at the accident site, she should not have made it. But....my husband and I had asked the church to pray for her over a problem she was having, and I truly believe that all those prayers are what kept her alive. God was definitely looking out for her!!
OH,MARI, The hand of the Lord was upon them. I don't see how Heather got out of that with just scrapes.
Thank you, Lord, for protecting these two girls.
I cannot stop thinking about this!
Just think, your life as a mom could have been so much different today.
I am so full with thankfulness that Heather and Melissa were not hurt any worse.
