I had the day off today and went for an early walk. As I was headed home, 5 deer crossed the street in front of me. As I was trying to get focused on them, the last two stood and watched me. They are such beautiful creatures!
I can see why you like to take walks...you always come across such neat things. My last contact with a deer was in December 2004when it hit the side of my van!
A couple of weeks ago at our Monday morning Bible Study we saw 4 deer run across the pasture and then sail across the fence and run off. Such a beautiful sight. Yesterday as we were returning from said BS we saw 5 white geese on the side of the road. The Lord blesses us with these sights out at her country home. Susan
You were lucky the last two waited for you :-) We used to see deer around our home, but the neighbor man fenced in the fields and I think they went elsewhere to find food.
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.

I like to watch deer. I have hit two of them and it broke my heart.
Our roads sound very similiar! I just can't catch the deer with my camera! What wonderful walks you have!
That's so neat! You see so many things in your area, whether driving or out for your walk!
Nice scenery and views on your walks. :)
