This is a hydrangea tree in our back yard. It's called a tree, but is actually a bush grafted onto a tree trunk.
I think it has more flowers this year than it's ever had. These flowers start off pure white, and gradually turn a rosy pink. They stay on the tree through out winter, by which time they are dried and are an antique mauve color. They look pretty now, and in the winter with snow hanging on them!

Pretty !!!
I'd love to sit on that bench and take in all the beauty in your yard - especially these pretty hydrangea blooms!
That's lovely. I don't think I've seen this kind of tree before. And the bench peeking out from behind is perfect.
I'm taking a blogging vacation to catch up on summer. I'll be back Sept 1st. Until then...
Cheers, jj
