I LOVE black-eyed susans (my namesake)... I planted 3 this year, and they are flowering when I didn't really expect much this first year. Next year, they should be really big and beautiful!
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.

And such pretty brown eyes ... a sure sign of August here.
Beautiful!
This is a good-looking bed of black-eyed Susans! I need to look up why they got that name. I'll bet it's a good story.
What a cheery view you have!
Yep, cheery is the word to describe them. And it looks like you have a lot of them!
:-)

I love them too. We have quite a few in our gardens.
that yellow would make me happy too.
Are those black-eyed Susan's? Lovely!! I need to plant some next year. Are they annuals? Can they stand the heat?
What is your secret? Every year I plant these flowers and every year they die. What I mean is, they do not come back the second year.
beautiful!
Oh how I want to visit your garden...definitely very cheery flowers. Blessings to you dear friend.
I've always been partial to Black Eyed Susans...so pretty!
