The rain that started yesterday has continued. It rained all afternoon and night. I went for a walk after church this morning and took this picture of one of our neighbors yards so you could get an idea of the water around here. This is usually just a green lawn.
Shortly after I came home it started raining again and continued most of the afternoon. This weather is supposed to continue tomorrow. It could get messy!

We are suppose to get more rain, too. Mickey got his vegetable seeds in yesterday so that will be good.

I'm surprised the ducks haven't found the water yet. :) When it rains I always think of cooking a pot of veg/beef soup.
yay for you for going for your walks so faithfully. i wish i could get into the habit.
I know these kind of rain... here are often the fields overfloated.
Hope for you the rain will stop soon.
When I think of Michigan in the spring and summer, I think of lush green vegetation. I guess this is why! I used to watch garden shows and a lot of their shows were from Michigan. Their gardens were always beautiful.
I love this picture of the standing water in the lawns. The stone post is pretty too!
Wow. I hope it doesn't get too bad! We got almost 3" this past Saturday and had minor flooding everywhere. Up towards Wichita, they got wayyy more on Sunday.
