April 29

Aren't these pretty little flowers? They are called Grecian Windflowers and are growing on the side of our yard near a wooded area. Each flower is only about 1 inch across, but they fill an area about 2 1/2 feet long. We started with just a small section, but they are self seeding so a few more come up every year.

I love Grecian Windflowers. I have a few in our front flower bed.

Hmmmmmmmm! I just went out to see if they were still there. THEY ARE GONE! I remember Alan saying the other day as he sat in front of the spot where they should be, "You sure have a lot of weeds in this bed!" I told him to pull the weeds, not the flowers! Maybe he cannot tell a weed from a flower. Certainly, if they were in bloom, he would not have pulled them.

I may be looking for more Grecian Windflowers to plant. Yours are lovely!

Very pretty. I love flowers that propagate themselves - less work for me!
