This has been my weekend to work. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to work weekends. I hate missing church and it makes it hard to get away, but there are good things about working the weekend too. It is almost always much calmer. There are fewer people around - no management or office staff. Somehow it seems that the residents are calmer too. This allows us to spend more time with them. This aide and resident were sitting together and when I asked if I could take their picture, this is the pose I got. Don't you think that's sweet? It's some of these residents that make me love my job!

So very sweet, Mari, and says so much.....
Hope you have a nice evening tonight!
That is so very nice!
This is a sweet picture. Glad that your car did not sustain any damage. Hope your nephew was able to come home. My daughter's friend had that happen a couple of years ago and they said it was because he is so tall.
That is really sweet, Mari.
Just think, she's someone's grandma. I think the elderly are so precious. Like I have said before, it takes someone very special to do your job. Thanks for taking care of them.
That is so beautiful to see. Pure love in both of their eyes.
May I ask who the person on the left side is - your daughter?
It´s a wonderful shot full of emotion and closeness - and I love how you spoke of the special moments on weekends. sure it isn´t nice missing church but I think all residents thank you for your work on weekend, your thoughts of them....
sorry for my terrible english, but I´m sure you understand what I´ll say
I can still feel the love. I miss them so much. Good pic. Kae
This picture captures so much about LIFE! I enjoyed visiting your blog and reading a few of your posts. Blessings to you today!
Such a sweet photo, it truly does capture emotions. And I can imagine it would be nicer, a slower pace, on the weekends. ;)
