December 12

Last night we had our first Christmas party of the season.  This one was with my Dad's family.  He comes from a family of 10 kids.  All of those kids now have grandkids, and there's a few great grandkids, so you can imagine what a group there is when we all gather!
One of these girls is a cousins grandchild, the other is a cousins daughter.  The purpose of the wading pool was for the little kids to find things hidden in the paper.   However, these 2 decided it was more fun to get in and throw the paper around!

Wow! What a large family. My husband comes from a family of six kids. Looks like you all were in a gymnasium. I love reading about other people's Christmas parties. What a neat idea for the little ones.

What a great idea. My husband is from a big family and I love it. Seems like it takes several minutes to give everyone a hug.
