December 17

This bench in our backyard is a wonderful place to sit in the summer, but it doesn't look too inviting now! The flower heads hanging above it are from our hydrangea tree. It always surprises me how long they can hang on.

Hydrangea TREE?? That must be absolutely gorgeous in season. I've never seen them grow in tree form. Beautiful photo, but I disagree, it looks very inviting! :-)

I too think it's a beautiful, inviting photo. I grew up in the South where we had hydrangea bushes -- never trees. Please promise to photograph one in the spring to enlighten those of us who are in awe!

You're right it doesn't look to inviting to sit in, but it does look festive!

What a beautiful shot!!
We are having a lot of snow at the moment and I would like to go out for taking some pictures. But it's still snowing and also very stormy so that I'm afraid about my lense.

The forecast for us this weekend is 8-12 inches of snow starting late tonight. I have my fingers crossed. I might have some snow pictures to share on Monday!!

I love your bench! We are under a storm warning. It starts tomorrow morning at 4 AM. I will be up looking out my window. =)

What a beautiful shot Mari! Although I have to agree with you, it doesn't look too inviting to sit on the bench right now. :)
