December 4

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Up till last night, we only had a dusting of snow one time. That's all changed.  We got 11 1/2 inches of snow between 7:30 pm and 6 am.  The weather people said this storm centered over our little town and another one to the north of us and we really got hit.  Others in the county got 2 - 6 inches.
It was a nasty drive in to work this morning. I followed the tracks someone else left and prayed I didn't meet any other traffic.
This little tree is on our patio at work.

Ok stop with the snow already. I'm not ready for it yet. Too late I just went outside and winter has arrived. In my front yard I have some cool and rare trees but one of my favorites in the Japanese flowering cherry tree. It is from a cutting of the ones I sat under in Japan and DC. We make it a point to have a picknick under the "Sakura" tree when it is flowering. It is a Japanese tradition. But we also do it when we get a big snow like that. It is always a great picture untill the boys kick the tree at the end and it all falls down on us.

BEAUTIFUL. I'm looking at new camers, since mine is missing. Could you tell me what kind you have Mari? I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I asked Zack this morning how much snow he had gotten and he said there is maybe an inch. What a difference. I sent him pictures of our snow.
Smiles!
