December 8

I don't have a nice picture today.  I was on my way home from work, when my Trailblazer (the one I got a month ago) quit working.  It was running, but wouldn't drive so we're afraid it may be a transmission problem.
I have noticed though, that even in difficult situations, God takes care of us.  My husband got out of work early today and came along about 5 minutes after I stopped.  A police officer stopped traffic and let me sit in the police car to stay warm while the tow truck loaded my vehicle up.  We have a big storm with freezing rain and blizzard like weather predicted for tomorrow, and if this had happened then, it would have been worse.
So - now we are praying that it isn't too horribly expensive to have fixed and tomorrow I'll try to take a little nicer picture!

I'm sorry that your Trailblazer quit working. I hope it's not such an expensive problem. But God always takes care of us and provides for us.

That is a lot of snow. Your pictures of the farm and your road home look so pretty but cold. Stay warm during your predicted blizzard like weather.

What happens to us on a daily basis doesn't always paint a pretty picture but it's how we deal with it that shapes our character! Good luck - seems like we are all too often slaves to our vehicles! With the storm that's brewing you may want to dig out the snow shoes!

Not a good picture, indeed! But as you said, it could have happened in worse weather. Hoping for minimal expense. Take care and stay warm!

God certainly was watching out for you. If it had to happen, I am glad that it wasn't in a blizzard. I hope that it is nothing too expensive.

Mari, so sorry about the vehicle. So glad it happened in the day, and it sounds like the right person was sent to help.

Dang, a new car that goes bad. Dang.

I sure hope you can get it going again, and under warranty.
