January 14

The sun has been shining here and the temps were in the 30's today! This means the snow has melted off the trees and is melting on the ground. Freezing rain is predicted for tonight, but it's supposed to be warmer again tomorrow. You won't hear me complaining about that!
I came across the barn today and thought it was another barn with character!

I love the clarity in this picture - each bush is easily seen and not smeared together like my pictures are. this picture could be in a book - you have talent my friend.
Love to you.

Those wonderful barns! Please come back in the spring when those trees in the background have budded out.

"It came to me then. We're a lot like that, you and I. Only it's on the
inside that the beauty grows with us. Sure we turn silver gray too... and
lean a bit more than we did when we were young and full of sap.
But the Good Lord knows what He's doing." I found this about the Weathered Barn...story. I like to think on it when I see an old barn.

Here in Indiana the landscape has many of these barns and old farmhouses, most have been neglected. I always think what a waste of our history and resources to not try to preserve them. Nice picture.

Really like this - looks very natural...only three or four tones of colours in the whole photo...great!
