Alan and I walked out to look at the maple trees behind our yard. They are drab, dead like, ugly leaves. You would not believe it! Because of our stifling hot summer and not much rain, our trees are suffering.
I can remember falls of other years that were absolutely gorgeous. I remember one year of driving on a back road and the road was obscured because of the fallen leaves. When we drove through, the leaves blew everywhere. It was so breathtakingly beautiful.
What a breath taking view you have right outside your door. I always say I am a city girl at heart, but I wouldn't mind a little country when it looks like this. Of course ask me this same question when you start posting your buried in snow pictures. I won't have the same opinion. LOL!
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.
