December 31

Hope you've all been enjoying yourselves over the holidays. We've enjoyed having our son home for a few weeks, so have been having some family time.
The weather has been crazy! I hear of snow falling in Georgia and Arizona. Here in Michigan, it's unseasonably warm. The temps were in the 50's today and I woke up to thunderstorms this morning. It's been raining and overcast all day. This is the view of a lake near us when I drove past it early this afternoon.
I did hear that next week we will probably go back to normal weather - some snow and colder weather is predicted.
Happy New Year to all of you!

Happy New Year to you and your family! I'm glad you've had some wonderful family time. Our younger son, Andy, and his family will be coming in to celebrate Christmas/New Year next week.

We're having unusual weather, too - in the 70's here.

Today we have sunshine, yesterday too. I love it! This picture though is what we see here probably 95% of the time. grey with rain...

Arizona has snow?! crazy!

Ya it has been a warmer winter so far, but yesterday there was TONS of fresh snow on Mt. Baker so I imagine it's coming our way :P

Plus I can feel it in my bones!

I'm with you on the crazy weather. We got 5 1/2 in. of snow here in Georgia at the beginning of this week and today it was 68 degrees! Right now it's 8PM and 62degrees! I'll take it, tho.

Happy New Year to you and your family. I'm glad you're getting to enjoy some family time.

I've been seeing your comments on Susie's blog and thought I'd finally check your blogs out.
I love the clarity of your pictures--I have a lot to learn about taking pictures of cats and lighted areas. Your photos of these are beautiful.
The photo here brings to mind a setting for Wuthering Heights--this would be perfect for such a novel.:)
I'm so glad I stopped by.
