January 4

The snow has arrived!
After a December with very little snow, we got snowed on today. I woke up to find a bunch of snow on the ground, followed by snow falling gently most of the day.
I took this picture out of a window at the Nursing Home. I love the way the snow looks on the pine trees and the grasses.

we are getting more of that today. IT looked like spring last week. Only patches of it.

We have no snow over here, so I'm thrilled to see pictures like this! How beautiful!

A pretty winter scene with the pine trees. I'm hoping for a mild winter here in the heartland.

Beautiful. I'm waiting for snow to come here and cover the bare brown with its magical white that transforms the most mundane into beautiful artwork.

It looks pretty when it first falls, then I'm usually ready for it to go! LOL

Looks very pretty Mari! I just scrolled back to look at the last several posts and I cracked up at the gifts you received for your birthday! Of course, my favorite is the picture of Oliver hiding amongst the gifts! He is so adorable! I also love the 12/05 photo - what a great shot!

Very nice Mari. Winter gardens always intrigue me. Snow dresses them up so nicely.

I am glad that you finally got some snow to dress up your winter gardens. We are still waiting for ours. It should come tonight. I have to go to the doctor in the morning so I hope we don't get too much!
