I went to a funeral home in a nearby town to pay respects for one of my residents who passed away earlier this week. Near the funeral home was an old church with this unique steeple. Most of the bells in churches around here aren't visible from the outside. I really like being able to see the bell, and I bet it's fun to hear it ring!

We had a bell in our church steeple for many many years and it was rung for weddings and special occasions. When we remodeled and expanded the sanctuary, the bell was removed and now sits on the front lawn in it's own enclosure. It's there for anyone to ring and touch. I'm with you. I like it being visible too.
