Barn Charm July 30

I was driving on a road out in the country when I came across this farm. I like the straight lines on this barn and the white foundation. And it's always nice to see horses!

This house goes with the barn. I included it because it's such a nice farm house!

It looks like some kids may live here. You gotta love a tire swing!

This is perfect! The barn is weathered just the right amount. It's obviously being well used, but also is being maintained. And that house! I love big old homes and this has been well taken care of. It also looks like a big family has lived or is living there from that addition on the back. The tire swing completes the setting. Ideal!:>)

I love the horses in front of that great, red barn. And the house is just how I'd picture a farm house!

Mari, looks like you had a perfect day to photograph this barn. The contrast between the sky and barn is beautiful. The weathered boards and horses add character to your shot. :)

Love the color of the sky with the weathered red wood of the barn. The horses are an added bonus.

Hi Mari..
What a great old farmhouse! The barn is pretty awesome too!
The bottom half almosts looks like some of the old milk barns, that are around here.

Thanks for sharing!!

Mari, these are stunningly beautiful shots!! I love the "old" photos of things that have stood and weathered time.

May I ask what camera do you have?
