November 12

It's time for Barn Charm, and I'm doing something a little different for it today.  Instead of an actual barn, I'm sharing a piece of art.
This is a painting that was entered into a local Art contest in our area.  I always notice barns, even when they're not the real thing!
I really like this barn, with it's flag and broken windows.  I also like the combo of the old time barn and the field of wind generators.
For more barns, visit Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

I was almost fooled - until I realized those wind turbines are not nearly big enough!

The justaposition of barn and wind turbines is thought provoking.
I have to wonder if the painting is a depiction of an actual scene or one just in the artists mind.
I like it Mari!

It is quite unique. I think it should be on a calendar in the area where the artist painted it.

Wonderful painting of a great barn with its beautiful flag, and the wind generators in the background are a fun touch.

I wonder if it was painted from the real thing out in a field somewhere & where that somewhere is, because this is a beauty of a barn! I LOVE the flag & how the windows frame it & those big ol sliding barn doors... The wind gens in the back could tell its location... do you know where the real one is?

Thank a million for joining =)
