February 25

This picture makes me cold, just looking at it.  It pretty much sums up how things have looked around here lately - snow and blowing snow...
Getting back to the barn - I like the simple shape of it but I wish they had painted that door red to match the rest. It's not in great condition.  I see lots of holes and warped boards.  The roof isn't looking so great either.  I don't think it's used for much besides storing a few things now.

Mari, that looks very wintry and cold. Much colder than our rain storm today. : )

Your image definitely conveys the cold but it is very scenic. I like the interesting pattern of snow on the roof.

The first thing I thought befor even reading your first sentence ways "Brrrrrr". The barn has a great shape to it. I think I'd kind of like to see the door painted a bright color, or maybe decorated with a mural or quilt... I don't know, the white is like a blank canvas.

I would go nuts not seeing the sun and grass...even though our grass is mostly dormant...it is starting to green up. I would love to have one day of snow, but don't know how you all deal with it as much as you do!

Nice shot! The barn looks cold and lonely in the snow! The landscape looks like it could be in my area right now.

I never went to a barn, not even saw it from the car.
I have to do something about it.

I agree with you about the door, it just stands out too oddly painted white. She's a beauty, tho, esp in the snow... snow can be a pain, but sure makes for some beautiful photos! =)

Yes, it looks pretty cold. I think the door is a sliding door by the looks of the bar apparatus on the top of the door and over to the edge. Pretty clever.

I love the look of the snow, but I don't like cold that comes with it. Barns always look amazing surrounded by a new snowfall. Lovely.

These isn't anything prettier in the country than a red barn surrounded by an impressive snowfall. This is a great capture. genie

Yep, that door really needs some paint--either red or black.

Wow, that looks cold! Strange that the door is white - must have had some white paint left over and just used it up!
