March 18

This barn has a most unusual roof line, but only on that one side.  The rest of it seems to be in fairly good condition.  I've been watching this barn for several years and the wavy side doesn't appear to be changing, but I can't imagine it can stand like this for any length of time.

For more barns, visit Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

at first I thought it was built like that for design, but now I see that it has sunk in parts. The doors look brand new! That wood would make for some lovely projects some day!

Definitely interesting waves, but it does look snug and tight! : )

If it were here, I doubt it it could withstand the wind.

That sure is strange why the roof edge is like that.

I wonder what causes that. Maybe the soil conditions on that side are different than on the other and it has shifted ????

Well it makes for an interesting photograph anyway...great shot Mari....

One side of it faces the winds mostly I would think..more rain damage to the roof line. Neat old wood on the sides too. Nice!!

Interesting find - the way the boards are under the roof line makes me wonder if it is intentional (?) I really can't tell. Very nice shot!

I like the weathered wood and snow in this.

Very interesting! It really makes you wonder what the story is on that.

It looks like it warped.

It does look like it's settled too much in a couple of places, but the new doors makes me think that it has a lot of life left in it! Hope so.

I love this barn. Have you ever done anything with all your barn pictures? You should make a book!

That is an interesting roof line detail. The barn sides do give the impression of buckling. It makes for a pretty picture, though.

This barn seems to have a sense of humor. Unusual and endearing.
