March 4

I took this picture at work when I was asked to take a few 4 generation pictures of one of my residents, with her daughter, granddaughter and her great granddaughter. While we were trying to get pictures of all four of them, the baby grabbed onto her great grandma's hand and I grabbed this shot.
Such beauty in those hands - both young and old!

Oh, Mari, I love this. Hands always speak to me. My father has been gone for 7 years now and what I remember most are his hands. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mari,
I see your comments on some of the blogs i read, so I thought I would come over and say hello! This picture is just wonderful! We are heading down to Illinois to celebrate my mother in laws 88 birthday...her hands are beautiful like these are. His faithfulness is evident here to all generations.

My mother died just months before her great grandchild was born..I got a lump in my throat at this shot. Just wonderful. Bless you for the work you do..it takes a special person to enjoy it as much as you do. :-)

There is a marriage that takes place with the childlike yearnings and the sophistication of the aged. You have captured both....bravo!
