August 3

We have had weird weather here lately. It gets dark and cloudy, like we are going to have an all day rain, then it rains for about 15 minutes and it blows over and the sun comes out. Today was another day like that. This morning it rained, this afternoon the sun is shining, although the clouds try to cover it at times as you can see in the photo above.
This field is not too far from my house. I thought the flowers in the field, combined with the fence and the tree made a nice picture.

that's the type of weather we've been having too!

and would you believe that someone stole my pretty flower basket this past weekend! no kidding! we'd had a ton of folks here in town to watch the fireworks (delayed from canada day 'cause of rain) and when we got up the next day, no basket!

I'm in CA and we just don't have real weather.. not complaining.. but would love to have a change on occasion.

This is fantastic. The fence grabs my eye and leads it right up to the sky! Lovely contrasts, colors, shapes, textures and setting. Great composition. Nice job. Perhaps one for the wall??

The picture is beautiful! Our weather has been really strange, too...mostly just so much colder than it should be in the middle of the summer!..and lots of rain...incredible.

Mari you did such a good job! Ed didn't even recognize it for a minute. Too bad I didn't have the gait open so a horse would have been in the back ground!!

Awesome country shot, I love this!! :) Old wooden fences make a great prop in country photos, and the flowers against it are gorgeous.
