August 31


This is a picture I took yesterday near The Arch in St Louis. This is the Mississippi River. I think it's probably the most famous river in the United States and it was nice to actually see it. There are two bridges here, an old one and a new one, along with the statue in the left corner of the photo. The statue is of Lewis and Clark. It was a very pretty place!

Neat photo. Memphis has 2 bridges over the mighty Mississippi, too. An older one and a newer one.

Whenever I think of the Mississippi River, I think of floods. The statue looks so close to the water. Great picture!
