August 4

I love trees! When I am out walking I often study the trees. I realize that I like the older trees best. Their bark isn't smooth like a young tree but it has a lot of character. It reminds me of older people; those who no longer have smooth skin, but are wrinkled. God has given older people and trees a beauty all their own!

How true about tree bark being like skin...I never thought of it that way!

Thanks for your visit...your photo is lovely with the rough bark and soft green leaves beginning to wrap their way around it...

My skin kind of looks like that in places! Beautiful picture, but not my hands! :-( Ryan calls them "ET hands".

Glad you appreciate us "old" ones. Believe me, I'm enjoying life to the fullest and not one bit ashamed of my age or skin. Besides we're all going to get a New Body soon.
