January 11

This little building was once a one room schoolhouse. As a matter of fact, my father-in-law attended school here. It's now owned by a man who is a photographer. He uses it for a studio and to store some of his props. I'm glads he takes such good care of it. I've always thought it was a neat building.

It looks so peaceful sitting there amidst all the snow. I see it has a chimney so I suppose there's a warm roaring fire inside.

Cute! We stayed in a cabin this weekend that was made to look like an old school house. :)

All your pictures are so great!!! I would have never thought of taking one through the trees. Did you take any kind of classes in photography?????

What a charming structure. And the way you took the shot makes me feel like I'm sneaking around in the forest!

What a great building - you don't see things like that anymore - thanks for sharing.

what a cute building - glad the photographer take care of it!

By the way - Project E is a project with words - a positive recap of the day - a Essence of the day - not mandatory with a picture - but with a quote or a word.

So my project E is without pictures - the pictures are only in my project 365.

OK, you soooo need to frame this house because of it's personal meaning to you and your family!

Cute building & it's great that it's been preserved. Not many old buildings are kept these days and oh what a shame. The stories that come from seeing them are so fun!

That is where I got my grade school education too. I had one other person in my class. When I started I was in kindergarten and there was a girl in first grade. So they moved me up to first grade; that is why I graduated from high school at the age of 16. I would never do that to my kid - it was not a good thing. But that's what they it in those days.
Just some trivia for ya!
