February 11

This is Grand Rapids own "Nessie". You may remember when I showed her to you before here, when we had an Art Competition. At that time she was in the Grand River in the middle of the city. Now she has been moved to a pond on near our zoo. We drove by her today, and had to stop to get a picture of her in the snow.

I bet "Nessie" wishes they would move her to Florida. She looks a little cold. At first, I thought whe was in a field, but no, she is frollicking in the icy snow waters.
Good picture, Mari.
