We have a maple tree in our back yard, and right now the seeds are coming down. When the wind blows it looks like it's raining seeds!
I wanted to show you how full of seeds our grass is. And - there are lots more waiting to come down!

We got these two. Just got our grass cut and they all fell off.
That is a good shot! The maple seeds fell here about two weeks ago. We were amazed at how many came down. The road and yards were covered.

The yard next to ours has a big maple too and when the wind blows in our direction this time of year it looks like it's raining maple seeds. Some years, I pull hundreds of baby maple trees out of the lawn. But there are not as many as you have in your lawn.

Very cool picture! Did you have to lay on the ground for that one? When I was a kid we use to have fun with those seed pods... we called them helicoptors.
