The dogwoods are flowering! They tend to grow along the edge of wooded areas. Their airy white flowers are such a pretty sight along the country roads.
Interesting. Your dogwoods don't look anything like ours here in the South. But the same is true with magnolias. Even though we're all alike, we are all different nonetheless!
Hi Mari, I'm usually back in Ohio this time of year to catch the dogwood but I delayed my trip til the 1st week of June. I am so hoping the gorgeous pink dogwood at my folk's house will still be in bloom when I get there. This reminded me how much I miss see it. Happy weekend, jj
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.

Lovely! I've seen several dogwoods blooming this week during my visit to WV.
wow... amazing shot!
so wonderful to spring in full bloom
Lovely! I've never seen this variety! The petals are more lacey than what we have in Ohio. What a wonderful photo!

Now that's a springy sight!!!
Those are beautiful dogwoods. Ours look a little different but they are all pretty.
Aren't those dogwoods beautiful? I observe them on my way to work--a great way to start my day!
Mari, thanks for stopping by my blog, and for your sweet comment.
Have a blessed Sunday!
Doris
Beautiful. Hopefully the new owners of our home in Cinci are enjoying the lovely one gracing our deck.:)
Beautiful, Mari!! These are so pretty!!
They don't look like our dogwoods. They look like our azaleas, but I just saw red dogwoods today. Never seen those before either.
I'm so sorry! I wasn't here for such a long time!!
Wondferful photo of a very beautiful flower!
Hugs, maike
