Although I'm not usually a fan of telephone pole, as they are often in the way when I'm trying to take a picture, I thought these poles had a certain appeal with the evening sun shining on them.
You are right, we don't see many of these any more. Just think, there will be children born who have never seen a telephone pole! Our lines are all underground. The picture is a keeper. You can show it to your grandchildren. LOL!
I am a Christian wife, mom to 5 and Grandma to two adorable little girls. I have 2 daughters and a son who were born to me and 2 sons who joined our family by marrying our daughters. I have been married to a wonderful Christian man for over 30 years. I work as a nurse at a long term care center, where I am blessed to get to know many older people and their families.

Fantastic shot!
Cruise Pictures
They're almost golden!
You are so right - I am at work right now - but check out my WORDLESS WEDNESDAY later today.
Beautiful sky!!
Hugs from maike :)
you've presented them in a wonderful light ...
I like how they lead the eye down the road. An effective shot.
That does look cool how the sun is shining on them. Also, the different styles of the poles. Kinda alternating like.
The light in this shot is very beautiful.

The golden hour, just before sunset! Beautiful
so many telephone poles... wow - like the special light
They are appealing--almost an art form.
The sky is lovely!
They are usually in my way, too! ha. That is a beautiful shot of them, I must agree! The lighting is perfect!
It's amazing what light can do for an ordinary object! But it takes someone with an eye for hidden beauty - like yourself - to see it!
Hi Mari -
You're right. This photo does have appeal.
GOD has surely given you a photo shot eye.
Thank you for sharing.
You know, I used to hate telephone poles...and I still do sometimes. But there are times, like here, that they really add to the appeal of the shot.
