December 12

I came across this little barn in a nearby town. I think it looks Christmasy, with the red paint and the snow and ice. I like the sliding door and the little window.

For more barns, visit Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

I agree! A very Christmasy barn! Everything about it is wonderful but especially the red.

....all it needs is a wreath under the window :-) Love it.

This IS charming!
Wish it were mine. I'd put a big wreath on that door to make it even more Christmasy. :)

It is sweet and charming both. That little bit of snow add such a nice touch to the overall image. Wonder what the upstairs is like and what stories it has to tell. genie

I think they should hang a big wreath on it!

I love red barns with snow on the rooftop! A wreath would make it complete! :)

it's very christmas-y! you can't even tell it's winter here yet, still temps in the upper 50's and not a hint of snow.

definitely Christmas-y! LoL! I wonder if the sliding door is just for looks or if it actually opens up to the loft?

Thanks for joining =)

This definitely has Christmas charm; like from a heart felt, hot chocolate drinking, snuggle in a warm blanket movie!
Another charming find is to have found you through a comment thread on 'Chocolate Covered Daydreams'!
I am now following you and lovin' it!
God bless you with tremendous love!

The uniform colour is nice - it could so easily have been ruined by a cheap white garage door.

Darling little red barn! Gotta be the door to the loft! Very festive and the icicles are an extra treat!

I'm surprised that there are so many barns in your area, but I guess that driving around in your area is not the same as driving around in my area. Because I did once lived in the States and there I went for a little ride for miles away!! here in miles I'm across the Netherlands, hahahaha!!

Love this seasonal barn!

Dropping by to wish you Christmas blessings.

It's wonderful how they seem to have converted it to a garage without ruining its barn characteristics. The red color is a great choice anytime of year, but I agree that it fits into the Christmas theme nicely.
It's so nice when you see someone appreciating their barn. :>)
