April 9

How do you like this cute little barn we found this weekend? I don't think I've ever seen a barn with a design in the roof. From a distance you can really see the rooster design.

For more barns, visit Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

Now that's a roof to crow about! Sorry, I couldn't resist! This must be a very special place to someone, who put much thought into planning it.

That is the neatest thing! I've never seen a design on the roof quite like that. Very creative! Love the red barn.

I like it a lot! That took a bit of thought to get that design on the roof.

I have seen advertisements on the roofs of barns, but never something like this! What a great find! I regret that I was not into photography when I lived in Michigan...as I recall, there are LOTS of barns there! As a southern gal, I was just into not freezing to death! Have a great day!

At 1st, I thought it just had some shingles missing, but I see the rooster, now! What a beauty & they really put a lot of work into the design... the white pops against all that red

Thanks so much for joining =)

wow! how cool is that?!

At first I thought it was a really bad patching job, but whose shingles would fall off in the shape of a rooster?!

I've never seen a barn with a rooster painted on the roof. Wow! And, that little red barn looks to be in immaculate shape. Awesome find and a gorgeous capture!

That is cute. And I didn't notice the design until you pointed it out. Really cute.

How original, and what a delight to see.

I may have to borrow this idea. We just finished having a garden shed built in our yard and it still has a plain black tarpaper roof. I still have time to change what goes on top of it. Perhaps a butterfly ?

Because of my abnormal week last week, I missed Barn Charm and this precious barn. The roof looks like a scrabble board. Really cute building. Thanks for your sweet note. A friend drove Eloise home on Thursday and I have been in bed since then. Tomorrow I have to go back to work. The spasms have stopped...thank goodness....I really think I have been living HELL right here on this earth. I have some osteo rotting in my left hip, and my spine is ready for the trash can. My neurosurgeon said that if the pain dos mot get better with anti spasm drugs and shots into the back, he will need to operate. That would mean fusing 2 diss at the neck and two at the base of the spine. YUCK! I said NONONONONO....I refuse. At least now I know I am NOT imagining the pain and the spasms. I refuse to give in to it so I work even when it is acting up. The fire out here in the wilderness area is not 30% under control, but we still have another week to worry. If the winds start back up, we will have to evacuate. The air in and out is permeated with smoke so my asthma is really acting up. Hey, I am alive...so what more can I ask for. Hugs, genie
