May 6

This is a barn that I pass by frequently.  I posted it here on barn charm about 2 years ago, and I'm sad to say it's deteriorated in that time.  The roof has a bit of a curve to it now and more of the shingles are gone.
Still - it's got some charm.  I love the little dormer and the big sliding doors.

Here it is as you approach it on the road.  The side view still looks pretty good.

For more barns, visit Tricia at Bluff Area Daily.

I do remember this barn. I asked your permission to send the photo to my friend who loves barns. You graciously said, "Yes."

Love all your barn pics!

I would love to go exploring in this one. That is something so appealing about it. So sad that it has been left without TLC. Love the little windows. genie

Oh, I just adore this barn! I looked at the earlier photo you took of it and have to admit ... I kinda like this shabbier version of it better. :) It has a lot of character!

It belongs in a story book. I love it---those dormers are wonderful fairy tale material. :>)

That's a beautiful old barn but it's sad to see it in disrepair. It looks like the moss is eating away at the shingles too. I like the old lightening rods on the roof. Pamela

I don't think I've ever seen a barn with dormers. I, too, love those big sliding doors. It's sad to watch them deteriorate.

The roof's moss gives it a cool effect-- not something I've seen before.

And I check back-- time has not been kind to this poor barn. Hope it lasts the new few winters and the weight of the snow.

The color of the moss adds a touch of richness to it.

What a cool looking barn, even in it's deteriorated state. It must have really been something at one time.
