This is a barn I frequently drive past and for some reason I've never stopped to take a picture of it. It's somewhat unusual for West Michigan, as most barns around here are painted red.
I like the dormers and all the moss on the roof.
I'm linking up with Tricia at Bluff Area Daily for Barn Charm. Go visit her to see barns from all over!

Love the moss on the roof! It's just beautiful!
Love it! Another great shot my friend!
Delightful dormers for a barn ...
She's a beauty. Looks like Pennsylvania. (What do I know?)
the moss does make for an interesting pattern on the roof (I thought at first that there missing shingles and wondered why there weren't gaping holes!)
Now, that's a niiice find... I agree w/ you on the dormers & the moss... they really add to the old barn! Is that a stone foundation, too? We just don't have those here in SeMo
Thanks so much for joining, Mari! =)
It's really cool how the moss even has the roof pattern in it!
I love this barn--love those dormers, too. It has really been a beauty in its former days.
that is a different looking barn - green and not red!
This is unusual for VA, too. I have never seen one with dormers and I certainly have nee seen one with the moss growing on it. Our have vines creeping and crawling all about them, but that is about it. Lovely capture.
Unusual for so many reasons . . .but also a bit eerie, as if it is in hiding. . .
I love this barn! I have a friend who loves barns and she is not a computer person - would you mind if I copy and send it to her. I'm sure she has never seen one like this!
Love this unique old barn; it's a little fancier than most you see!
Hi Mari, I knew here in Michigan we can see old and new red barns but not white. This one is very unique and I see the window best too looks like somebody can live on the second floor. Thanks for sharing and the visit!
Barn Charm
The moss does add charm to this old barn. Funny how we can pass something every day until FINALLY we stop to take a photo of it. :)
I love this barn...very charming. I am a nurse too :)
What a cool studio that would make! I hope it's still being used---it's got such character! You must smile just passing it. :)
For some reason, Dutch Barn comes to my mind.
Thank you!
Where in the world is this? Lindsey loves to shoot by a barn and I'd love to show her this one this summer.
That is really charming at least in a picture.
Love the moss-covered roof; thanks for sharing!
I can't believe the difference a bit of time has made.
